Sabrina’s wedding in Umbria (and some tips on wedding organization in Italy!)
Hi, beautiful ladies!
In this article I would like to tell you about my client’s Sabrina. She was born in the USA, but her mother is originally from Italy. She met her future husband in the US but he is from Rome, so what is better than getting married in Italy? It is so romantic, especially in Umbria with its medieval castles and towns.
Sabrina contacted me in September, as they were coming to look for the venues and in the meanwhile organised the prewedding photoshoot with great photographers Andrea & Federica (www.andreatappo.com). We organised the trial earlier on that day, so Sabrina had nice day make up and loose wavy half updo ready for the photoshoot in Rome.
I would recommend all the brides who are coming from abroad to get to know your photographer and your make up artist in this way, to have nice photos as a result. There are so many professionals nowadays online, but nothing is better than face-to-face contact!
So, then the guys went back to the States and we kept in touch with Sabrina.
They chose a very particular date for the wedding, 14 August: everyone who comes to Italy should know that 14-15 August in Italy is called Ferragosto holidays, when everybody leaves on vacation or stays outside the city, or with their family; that’s why to find professionals available during those days you need to book them much in advance and sometimes the price of the service is higher.
The wedding was organised in beautiful and romantic Castello di Rosciano (www.castellodirosciano.com). It was an international wedding with the guests from all over the world. The day before there was a welcoming dinner and Sabrina decided to have another trial and have beautiful evening make up (we went for nice smokey eyes in earthy shades) and hair (we did loose Boho waves hair). She looked amazing in her long floral dress.
On the wedding day, the atmosphere was great and relaxing. The bride and the bridesmaids were having fun sipping some Prosecco. I brought my team make up artist and hairstylist to prepare the bridesmaids on the wedding day, so I did Sabrina’s bridal hair and make up and her mother’s hair and make up. It was wonderful working in this relaxing atmosphere and that’s why the results were great!
You may see it on the great photos of Andrea & Federica (www.andreatappo.com).
Even if a bit worried at the beginning, my bride looked very beautiful in her stylish dress and her glowy bridal make up; hollywood wavy hair suited so much to it!
When you organise a wedding in Italy, especially in the middle of August, try to think about everything much in advance: choose a great wedding planner who will save you nerves and time, choose thoroughly all the professionals and make sure they work already a lot with couples from abroad, they speak great English and have really modern style!
Good luck for everybody who is going to get married in Italy and don’t hesitate to drop us a line if you need any information!
