Sue & Alket’s destination wedding in Sorrento - Make Up Artist, Hair Stylist & Image Consultant in Rome Italy

Hello beauties! Today I would love to tell you about Sue and Alket’s destination wedding in Sorrento. This fantastic couple got into contact with me in 2016 as they were going to get married in the beautiful Sorrento, in the Amalfi Coast. It was still quite early, but we started to discuss their preferences and style; then they came in Rome in October and we met in the photographer’s office to get to know each other and discuss the details: it was love at the first sight!

Sue and Alket are fantastic, relaxed, always smiling, they trust you letting you know their ideas and asking for your tips. Sue is a very beautiful young woman with Indian origins, she has amazing dark eyes, long thick wavy hair and beautiful silky skin.
We had been in contact during all months before their wedding to exchange ideas and prepare all the details concerning her first bridal look for the morning, her second bridal look for the evening and bridesmaids, relatives and friends’ hair and make up. She had all her family and friends with her to prepare.

I came to Sorrento with my team a day before the wedding and we organised the trial.
We tried hairstyles and make up; the room was full of friends and relatives, and they were smiling, laughing, having fun and telling nice stories to each other. A relaxing evening between girls before the wedding day!

On the wedding day, the weather was great and sunny, the breathtaking view from the Sue’s room was very inspiring. There were emotions and a little bit of anxiety, but it is absolutely normal: as I told to Sue, the important thing is to stay relaxed and calm and enjoy the whole thing!

Her first bridal look was a little bit of Great Gatsby style: black eyeliner, a little bit of an accent on her eyes, pinkish lipstick by Mac for her lips and eyelashes. Her bridal hairstyle that she wanted was a soft looking side loose curls hairstyle with some small braids. Then the photographer Daniele came and made us laugh and relax. Then I helped her with the dress and the shoes and she went to the ceremony. Me and my team had a small relax in the beautiful hotel Mediterraneo → . I must say, a fantastic place as for work, as for ceremonies: it’s spacious, with good cuisine, modern, clean, with a lot of light and fantastic views!

After that, I went to Sue’s room, to start her second bridal look for the evening.
A more dramatic eye make up with lots of lashes, fresh and luminous skin and loose beautiful waves for her fantastic long hair. Everything went well, we had a lot of fun! With great positive clients it’s always like this. I’m happy to have done the bridal look for Sue on her special day and wish them lots of happiness!

I don’t know how to praise Anna enough! She is absolutely amazing! She really understands the look you are after and takes care and patience to make sure she makes you look absolutely perfect. Anna did my hair and make up for my wedding for both morning and evening and she made me feel so relaxed and confident.
I had so many compliments on how I looked on the day with many saying I looked like a Hollywood star! I certainly felt like one! I knew Anna was for me the minute I saw her website but more so when I met her in person. I couldn’t have chosen a better person and really wish she could do my makeup and hair everyday!
