Hello beauties!
Today I would like to share with you some advices about a good hair and skin beauty routine.
It’s very important to take a good care of your skin and hair before your big day comes. Every future bride should dedicate some time to herself regularly: first try to eat healthy food, drink a lot of water, do sports, do scrubs and peelings to your face and neck at least once a week. A scrub is necessary also to our scalp for a better blood circulation and to remove the residues of shampoos, conditioners and masks.
You can prepare it yourself at home:
Take some spoons of baking soda, add one big spoon of any kind of conditioner, add some drops of essential oils, mix everything well and massage your wet scalp before your normal shampoo procedure.
At least once a month do some professional treatments at beauty saloons.
I would recommend an oxygen facial treatment: it does not usually cause any side effects, such as stinging, itching or burning. The infusion of oxygen and vitamins is good for the skin because it encourages the growth of new cells as well as collagen. This treatment may also rejuvenate skin that has been exposed to pollutants, such as tobacco smoke and other toxins that starve cells of their oxygen.
For what concerns hair, who have one colour of hair can add some highlights as the hairstyle will really look better and more three dimensional, especially on soft waves or updos with softs curls.
Don’t forget to take care of your lips. Usually almost all the brides with who I do the trial have their lips in terrific conditions. I highly recommend not to use low cost lips balms as they contain low cost substances as petrolatum, as my experience shows it causes addiction and despite of hydrating the lips, it dries it a lot.
Use natural ingredients. What can be better than honey? Just put some on your lips before going to sleep, its highly hydrating. But do first some peeling on your lips with some butter and baking soda, they dry your lips and apply honey. The day after they will look fantastic! Lips are so attractive and women should take a proper care of them!
When you are going to buy skincare products, consult first with your dermatologist (especially if you have a problematic skin), pay attention to the ingredients and try to buy only top quality products.
Remember, top quality doesn’t mean brands: that is why it’s very important to be able to understand the ingredients and proportions of them. Before buying them, ask always small size samples so you may try how your skin react.
In summer always use sunscreen creams for face and body, even if you are young and get tanned easily without getting burnt. If you protect your skin being young you will look gorgeous at any age. Look at Asian women: they don’t get tanned, always use sunscreens and umbrellas and their skin looks perfect even when they are 50.
For what concerns your wedding make up and hair, first study really thoroughly make up artists and hairstylists’ portfolios. Ask them questions, especially if you belong to a particular ethnic group, don’t hesitate to ask photos of people with the same skin colour or eye shape! Ask questions about what products they use, what they can advise to you: be aware that this is your day and you must look flawless!
If you have doubts, always do a test so you can see and try different styles and judge your chosen make up artist skills. Always pay maximum attention to hygiene. It’s very important as it concerns your skin: instruments of work must always be clean and disinfected, as well as hands. It seems foolish but it counts really a lot: it’s a must in our work.
I hope my advices will be useful!
